Childrens Tee Shirts

Whilst getting into my cards and things I have also been embellishing tee shirts for children .  One of the cute ones that people have been purchasing is where I heat transfer the first initial of a child's name onto the tee shirt.  This is done using a specific hear transfer vinyl as is used in many commercially available tee shirts.

I am also able to place a variety of images and words on the tee shirts depending on requirements.  One set I did for a customer,  I customised a birthday card using the same font and initial to make this a unique personalised gift. I can produce a range of fonts and sizes to be used.

Craft supplies and Cards

I got around to taking some pics of the cute ribbon that I got the other day when we went shopping.  Have some things in mind for this.

When we went out shopping on my birthday, I found this jar, it has three bowls that all fit into each and has a lid, has fruit in it now (ok ok its fake fruit), but have always wanted something like this for the ledge at the kitchen bench,  It actually looks really goood and adds some nice fresh colour.

A little creative

I started work on a card that a friend asked me to make, is taking me a while to be happy with the design,  but think I now know what I will do with it so might get it finished today.

Had some fun playing around with my blog and seeing what works, still have a long way to  go but am happy with the changes so far and will keep at it today I think, finding it fun to see what works etc.

Also have a few pics to upload so that is on the to do list as well.

Wet and Hot Wednesday

The day started off so hot and humid and now at 8.30 pm the thunder and rain is coming down.  At least the air con is doing its job.

We went out for brunch today, have been a bit housebound the last week or so after my trip to the hospital Friday night so was good to get out, even though Jeff had to literally drag me out.

We ended up going to DFO at Fyshwick, for two reasons, we were just going to have something at Coffee Club and I also wanted to go to my favourite two stores, Typo and Provincial.  Had brunch which we really needed as we were both really hungry after not having dinner last night and then on to some retail therapy. 

Found some cute ribbon in Typo, that looks like a tape measure, so cute,  also got some more tags to decorate.  We then headed to Provincial, ohh how I love this store.  Bought a small gift for my niece and a cute clock for my scrap booking room.  Could easily have spent so much more money in that shop.  A quick trip into JB-HI-FI and I got season 1, 2 and 3 of Big Love, looks interesting, Jeff got a movie and home we came.

Forgot to take my SLR with me and was disappointed, wanted to take some shop pictures, will have to do that next time.  Today would have been good to take pics though as there was no one around.

Had a half felt invite to be a third wheel at dinner tonight, wanted to go but was tired and hot, plus the cricket was on so declined.  Would have been fun though.

Ohh in some good news, a friend asked me to make a card for her for a special event.  Have to get my creative hat on tomorrow and start designing.

Had some online retail therapy on Saturday night and one of the parcels came today, my ATG gun in pretty pink.  Hope my other things come tomorrow am looking forward to them.

Virtual Tuesday

So today I mentioned to Jeff that we should have been at the Hunter Valley Gardens and checking out the story book garden.  So what did he do...bring up a you-tube vid for me..hahaha not the same.

So then resorted to some online retail therapy for my scrapbooking and card making fun.  Have lots of parcels on their way to me ...yeahhh
